Recap: Austin Reed and his St. Augustine High School varsity lacrosse teammates finish the 2016 season.
On Thursday, April 8th, the St. Augustine High School Yellow Jackets varsity lacrosse team finished up their 2016 season in a playoff loss in the FHSAA District 7 finals against the Matanzas High School Pirates. The playoff loss ended the Jackets season at 9 wins/6 losses on the year for the young team that had only 4 seniors on the roster. Sophomore Austin Reed, #14, started as a defender for the SAHS Yellow Jackets having success throughout the season and earning him to be recognized several times in the local newspaper for his on the field play.
